The Fictions video combines selected scenes from the procession of the Epitaph in one of the Greek Orthodox churches in Chicago and animated frames of repetitive symbols, crosses and flags with the sound mix of church bells’ echoes and the Greek national anthem. It is a comment on the interrelations between religion and ethnic identity and their key role in the production of otherness.
